Mercado de Productores, a wonderful farmer’s market at Madrid’s very own “El Matadero”
A new farmer's market is in town and it's called Mercado de Productores. Selling local produce from gardens and farms surrounding the city, this market is held on the last weekend of every month at El Matadero Madrid, a former slaughterhouse turned cultural center (one of our favorite spots in the city). After browsing through stands selling freshly picked produce, we recommend you then take a nice walk along Madrid Río. Hours: Saturday: 11am-7pm & Sunday: 11am-5pm

Mercado de Motores, Madrid’s coolest flea market!
Mercado de Motores takes over the city's Museo del Ferrocarril (train museum) on the 2nd weekend of every month for a fantastic flea market experience. This month's market will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8th (11am-1opm) & Sunday, Nov. 9th (11am-8pm). You won't want to miss it. Adelita Market is a monthly flea market that takes place at a cultural center in Malasaña called Espiritu 23 (named after its address, c/ Espiritu Santo 23).
