Fiesta del Cine; Spain-wide film festival featuring new releases and classics!
Fiesta del Cine begins this Monday, the 27th, and continues until Wednesday, the 29th, during which time all films in participating theatres can be watched for just 2,90€. The event takes place across Spain in over 250 different venues, listed under Salas Adheridas on their webpage. Film & Cook — a foodie film festival at La Cineteca in El Matadero
If you enjoy food and film, then this festival is for you. Film & Cook is taking place on Sat and Sun in El Matadero's very own theater, La Cineteca. Madrid summer film festivals – open-air cinemas, special screenings and more!
Summer in Madrid is great if you like film, because you'll find tons of open-air screenings and the city's theaters and museums offering special deals (i.e. tickets cost around 3€). For example, Madrid's Palacio de Cibeles sets up a big screen underneath its glass roof. The cultural center, Conde Duque, and the French Institute put on films in their courtyards.
