Lost & Found Market – An Open-air Vintage Market in Conde Duque!
Another new market is coming to town. This time it's taking place in one of our absolute favorite cultural centers in Madrid – Conde Duque. If you haven't been here, go! Want to do something different this halloween in Madrid? Then head over to Desperate Literature, a charming little bookstore near Opera, and wear your best costume. Marian Womack, editor of Ediciones Nevsky, translator and sci-fi legend, will be ushering in the halloween festivities with a reading of her most recent work, 'Orange Dogs'. Find out more »Dance for Kindness 2015 — Join a Flashmob for World Kindness
Dance for Kindness started in 2012 by Life Vest Inside, an NYC-based NGO that aims to unite the world through kindness. To celebrate Kindness Day, a global event, groups of people around the world will be performing a flashmob. The Madrid event will take place on November 8th. Rave Market is an awesome (and free) second-hand market that takes place in one of Madrid's most popular nightclubs, Shoko, in La Latina. What's cool about this market is that, since it's in a discoteca, you'll find DJs spinning and lights flashing while you browse through second-hand items and stumble upon gems that will cost you peanuts. MadrEAT – Madrid’s Street Food Festival!
Don’t miss Madrid's one and only street food market! During winter, MadrEAT is changing locations (see map above), next to Pabellón de Ondaretta on Calle Principal de Provincias (no number). Nearest metros are Puerta del Angel, Alto de Extremadura and Lago.
