A new farmer’s market is in town and it’s called Mercado de Productores. Selling local produce from gardens and farms surrounding the city, this market is held on the last weekend of every month at El Matadero Madrid, a former slaughterhouse turned cultural center (one of our favorite spots in the city). After browsing through stands selling freshly picked produce, we recommend you then take a nice walk along Madrid Río.
